Coraline Robinson, LMFT,

IOP Program Director - Balance Treatment of San Luis Obispo
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Coraline first entered the world of Psychology after living in the French Alps in a remote village full of natural splendor and healing. Ecopsychology sold Coraline on the idea of healing through our natural environments. Attending California Polytechnic State University for an M.S. in Clinical Psychology, Coraline studied and presented the impacts of Nature Therapy on Behaviorally Disordered Youth. Since then, Coraline has worked with disadvantaged children and families at Child Welfare Services, dual diagnosed adults in residential, intensive outpatient and alternative hospital settings. She has also supervised therapists working directly with survivors of Intimate Partner Violence and other traumas. In her various roles as therapist, supervisor, clinical team leader and director, Coraline credits her clients for teaching her patience, grace and resiliency, as well as her husband and family. Direct experience working with everything from, mild Social Anxiety to Paranoid Schizophrenia and Acute Psychosis, has convinced Coraline mental health recovery is a real possibility for many.
